Description:

The IT Project Manager (PM) leads cross-functional initiatives with a focus on large-scale Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, modifications, and integrations. This role is responsible for delivering complex IT and business transformation projects by leveraging industry-standard methodologies-Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Continuous Improvement (CI)-tailored to each project's specific needs. The PM ensures coordination, accountability, transparency, and timely delivery in alignment with corporate goals and IT Governance models. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of assigned projects including IFS ERP implementations
  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of ERP projects: scope, requirements, integration, testing, deployment, training, and hypercare
  • Apply best-fit methodologies including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives) while integrating traditional project controls
  • Implement CI practices to optimize project delivery processes
  • Co-lead IT Governance process keeping IT Steering Committee, IT Leaders and IT staff informed on priorities, project updates, and Sprint Cycles
  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment of expectations and deliverables
  • Report project status to IT Steering Committee including risks, issues, and performance metrics
  • Support business process documentation, requirement gathering, test planning, and change management efforts
  • Serve as backup to Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) when needed
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively recommend technology-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Evaluate and refine project management processes using data-driven insights to increase delivery efficiency and quality
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Deep understanding of project lifecycle and Agile principles
  • Skilled in tools such as Azure Dev-Sec-Ops, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft 365 suite
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams across departments
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills under pressure
  • High degree of accountability, integrity, and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline required.
  • 5+ years in project management, including 3+ years leading large enterprise ERP projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing full project life cycles using both Agile and Waterfall methods.
  • Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems and integration frameworks.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 strongly preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist preferred.

Physical Requirements

Tolerance for sitting long periods of time. Possess finger dexterity to write, type, and use a calculator. Maintain adequate vision to view small print and computer terminal. Ability to speak and hear, walk throughout facilities with occasional moderate lifting (50 pounds), stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with hands and arms required. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb up or down ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces. Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
