What will the Data & Reporting Analyst do?
- Develop and automate reports and dashboards for various business functions
- Perform data reconciliations and manipulate large datasets to ensure accuracy
- Extract, upload, and format data from various systems for internal use and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver effective data solutions
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and data handling
- Utilize advanced Excel for data manipulation and formatting, with potential for SQL queries
What the company needs in a Data & Reporting Analyst:
- Proven experience in report writing and data manipulation
- Advanced Excel skills, including efficient data manipulation and formatting
- Strong understanding of data best practices and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical teams
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of insurance industry practices (especially data calls), experience with SQL queries, familiarity with reporting tools (Crystal Reports, Power BI), and experience with cloud-based systems
