Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build data-driven dashboards that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), including analysis, testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Create and maintain recurring healthcare reports such as per-K metrics, including bed days, admissions, and procedures.
  • Partner with financial analysts and operational staff to develop reports that support strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and recommend enhancements to improve clarity, efficiency, and data accuracy.
  • Validate report content to ensure data completeness, consistency, and accuracy; maintain up-to-date report documentation.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of database objects including queries, views, tables, and stored procedures.
  • Develop complex queries and stored procedures to improve data flow, automation, and reporting efficiency.
  • Serve as a backup for automated reporting processes and contribute to ongoing improvements in analytics and methodologies.
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests using SQL, SSRS, Tableau, Excel, and other data tools; write well-documented and maintainable code.
  • Perform additional duties as needed in support of the analytics and reporting function.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. (An additional 2 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in report preparation; experience in Managed Care or IPA environments preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, data extracts, and report development using SSRS.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; capable of independently resolving data-related challenges.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within established deadlines.
  • Experience with relational databases and healthcare data environments a plus.
  • Position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work, subject to organizational guidelines.
